SATURDAY WINTER / SPRING 2024 CLASSES

Hosted at Bowditch Middle School, Foster City

We will be starting back with our training tennis programs for

2024 on  Sat January 20th through June 1st 

  • Program Registration will open Dec 9th on our Holiday Fun Event

 

Friday Invitation Groups Fri January 19th 2024 for the Invitation group

  • Fridays time and venue TBD

    • Invitation only - Requests can be made by email zallesRS@gmail.com

    • Tournament experience required

    • Players will be divided into A (UTR 4+) and B (2.8 +) groups.

Our Tennis Program Coaches

Decades of experience to learn from! 

1. Session 1A - Group Fundamental Stroke Development: Ages 6-10

  • Class Description: Teaching Stroke Fundamentals in Tennis

  • Ages: 6-9   Level: [Beg/Int]  Ball Colors: Red and Orange

  • Class Size: 4 Students per Coach 

  • Duration: [90min]

    • [Sat 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM]

    • [Jan 20th - June 1st, 2024]

    • [NO CLASS on Sat March 30th and April 6th]

    • [18 Saturdays in Total]

  • Students will practice agility and coordination which  will prepare them to rally.

  • Slower paced with the focus on teaching the fundamental strokes in tennis.

  • We will most likely use color balls (Red and Orange) depending on the levels.  Please indicate current color ball level inside your account profile so we can adapt if there are sufficient players with that color ball level.

  • Special Offers:

    • 6-Month Pass (January 20th to June 1st, 2024)

3. Session 1C - Group Green/Yellow Ball Fundamental Stroke Development: Ages 11-16
  • Ages 11-16 [Beg/Int]

  • Teaching Stroke Fundamentals 

  • [BEG/INT] 90min

  • We will go through the technical fundamentals of the main strokes in tennis using yellow balls and in some cases green balls to support the learning curve.

  • Slower paced with the focus on teaching the main strokes in tennis.

5. Session 2B  -Group Yellow Advanced: Ages 10-16

  • [Adv Yellow]

  • We will focus on developing shot variation and footwork and how to apply these tactics in point situations.

  • Though we will evaluate players for their skill level, it is strongly advised that players have private coaches and are playing tournaments.

2. Session 1B  - Group Orange Advanced: Ages 6-10
  • Ages 6-10 [Int/Adv]

  • Reinforcing stroke fundamentals

  • We will focus on shot variation development and how to use them in point situations.

  • Though we will evaluate players for their skill level, it is strongly advised that players already have private coaches and are playing orange ball tournaments.

  • Orange Balls will be used.

4. Session 2A - Group Green Advanced: Ages 9-12

  • Ages 9-12 [Adv Green] 

  • We will focus on developing shot variation and footwork and how to apply these tactics in point situations.

  • Though we will evaluate players for their skill level, it is strongly advised that players have private coaches and are playing tournaments.

6. Advanced Friday PM group "by Invitation only" for advanced tournament players.

  • [Adv Yellow]

  • We will focus on developing shot variation and footwork and how to apply these tactics in point situations.
